Transfer data from iPhone to Android without the cloud
When a customer does not want to sign in to iCloud or Google on your PC, SmenaFon moves data inside the local Wi-Fi network: the old phone opens the send page, the new phone opens the receive page.
When you need this scenario
Useful when selling a new Android, after a phone replacement, in a retail store, or whenever cloud sync is too slow or undesirable.
- · The customer never shares Apple ID or Google passwords with staff.
- · Photos, videos, contacts and files never leave the local network.
- · The customer sees QR codes and live progress on screen.
How the transfer works
The Windows agent runs a local HTTP server and shows two QR codes: upload on the old iPhone and pickup on the new Android. iPhone picks data in Safari; Android receives in Chrome. In home mode, Android Receiver can accept data directly.
What to check beforehand
Both phones must be on the same Wi-Fi without AP isolation. For stores, the most stable setup is Windows Mobile Hotspot on the staff PC. If iCloud Photos keeps optimized previews only, download originals on the iPhone first.
