Common questions about transferring data between phones.
How do I transfer data from iPhone to Android?
Run SmenaFon Agent on Windows, connect both phones to the same Wi-Fi, scan the QR codes — iPhone picks data in Safari, Android receives in Chrome. Usually 3–10 minutes, no cable.
Does the customer need an app on iPhone?
No. iPhone uses built-in Safari — no App Store install. The customer scans a QR code and selects files in the browser.
Does data go to SmenaFon servers?
No. Files move only inside the local Wi-Fi network (192.168.x.x). smenafon.ru receives license data and aggregated session stats only — never file contents.
Does SmenaFon work without internet?
Yes. After license activation the agent works offline. A Windows PC hotspot or the store router is enough.
What can be transferred?
Photos and videos in original quality, contacts (VCF), documents and other files. WhatsApp and iMessage chats are not included — platform limits.
How much does SmenaFon cost?
Salons get a 30-day free trial with up to 50 transfer sessions per month on one workstation. Then choose a SOLO/SALON/NETWORK subscription (from 1 500 ₽ / 31 days) or Solo Pay: 79 ₽ per completed transfer with no monthly fee. See Pricing on the homepage and the public offer.
How to move photos Android to Android without Google?
SmenaFon Receiver on the new Android can act as the hotspot. The old phone connects and sends files through the browser — no PC required.
Does Samsung to iPhone work?
Yes. SmenaFon supports any Android ↔ iPhone pair: Samsung, Xiaomi, OnePlus, Google Pixel, and others.
Where do I download SmenaFon Agent?
Get SmenaFon-Agent-Setup.msi from smenafon.ru/downloads or the direct link on the homepage. Installation takes under a minute.
Can I use SmenaFon without a PC?
Yes, in home mode. Install SmenaFon Receiver APK on the new Android — it becomes the receive point. The old phone connects via QR in the browser.
Which Windows versions are supported?
SmenaFon Agent supports Windows 10 and Windows 11 (64-bit). No extra .NET or drivers required.
How do I transfer contacts from Android to iPhone?
Android exports contacts as a VCF file; SmenaFon sends it over Wi-Fi. Safari opens the file in one tap and imports all contacts.
What is the PDF acceptance act?
After a session, SmenaFon generates a PDF listing what was transferred (categories, counts, duration). It confirms the service for the customer. Download a sample from the How it works section on the homepage.
Is Wi-Fi transfer secure?
Yes. Each session uses a unique PIN in the QR code. Others on the network cannot join without it. Data stays on the local network.
Is there a file size limit?
No practical limit. SmenaFon streams files; speed depends on Wi-Fi (often 30–150 MB/s).
How does kiosk mode work?
In kiosk mode staff only control the session — no access to the customer file system. The customer selects data on their own phone.
Are HEIC photos supported?
Yes. HEIC and Live Photos transfer in original format. Optional JPEG conversion is available in session settings.
